Technology is a great tool for educators. Having hands on experiences and visuals became at the click of our finger tips. Technology is a great knowledge enhancer when it is used correctly. Opening a window on the globe for students is an ecstatic way to use that tool. Technology can be used to enhance knowledge for the betterment of the academic future of students. The tablet usage in classrooms is a great way for teachers to help better understand students capabilities and needs. Another great way to using tablets is by using programs that will help educators encompass students talents and what they are best at. Giving them the platform to express themselves via Near-pod or Seesaw is a great way to dip into their inner them and their imagination.

On the downside, there are many downfalls of technology when it is misused. Using the wrong programs can be a waste of time for many students. Not training well on them, could cause frustration and in addition to overusing it could cause lack of social skills.

Technology is a great double sided tool. One side is the beneficial side that can be capitalized on to benefit students as much as possible, and the other side is the harmful side that can affect students negatively. By choosing and customizing wisely, it is very possible for educators to reach a happy medium.
