International Women's Day
March 8, is International Women's Day. Women were celebrating all over the world using social media. I came across so many empowering messages, and one of them was how if we help one another we will make the future a better place for our girls. It made me think of my daughter immediately.... What I do now, will effect my daughter's future.
I saw messages about significant women that challenged our society for equality. And yes, they did reach their goals. They did it for us all. They made it possible for us all. They opened the doors for our girls that are going to be the future significant women.
I realized the hardship they had to embrace to show that they can. They had to overcome obstacles to convince society that we are capable of doing it all.
In some societies women are underestimated and underprivileged. I saw messages from influence rs repeating, " I'm powerful, I'm a strong woman, I am free, and I can do it all." I loved how these women probably helped so many believe in themselves and free themselves and fight for what belongs to them.
Happy International Women's Day for all the great hardworking self owning women out there! Lets empower each other to make the future even better for the girls to come.

I truly enjoyed reading this, i feel woman are more important in society than men, without women technically on a technical basis, humans couldn't exist. As well i am noticing more women are being seen as leaders than man which says alot, I feel international women's day got alot of attention and got women to shine and give them the spotlight for alittle. It is long overdue for women to be shown and shine, in today's society where women don't get much of a opinion, to give women a day it is so important, in my personal opinion women should be given more than a day. they deserve a week or even a month! GREAT POSTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your post. It's truly interesting to see the many different social media posts regarding this day that does not always get the attention it deserves. Women have had to fight harder than men and I hope that one day, both of my daughters will be able to appreciate all the things women before them had to do to achieve the successes they now can have. I learned so many new things about women I had never heard of before.
