My Learning Style.....

I tend to learn best with hands on! Trying things with my hands and seeing results with my eyes is always the best way for me to learn. It does include learning while the educator is demonstrating as well. If my teacher is able to show me with a visual aid what he/she is talking about, I tend to register the information better.

Being in a certain frame sometimes stresses me out. For example sitting in a seat and not being able to change view or engage with others can make the classroom environment a bit stressful. Growing up I used to love when our lessons are moved outdoors, or if they were moved to the library or anywhere else for a change.

I liked the idea about implementing real life to what we learn in school. I always questioned how what I'm learning in class is going to ever help me in the outside world. Using what we learn in class in the outside world is a great way to better learning.

In one of the articles, one of the teachers literally flipped his class into a real life experiences. Students had to learn how to be responsible and even use Google Calendar. I really like the idea and would think it will be very helpful for better preparing the new generation for the outside world.

Flipped learning would be helpful for me, as I like to prepare and know ahead of time what I will be working on in class. In fact, I do so much better when I know my agenda for the class. The downside about flipped learning would be the extra time I would have to spend on it, which ultimately would end up being worth it.

  1. Wafa I totally understand your style of learning. I am the same way. I have to see things in able for me to get involve or to learn from it. I believe because of my language barrier , I had to teach myself and it made me attentive on the teachers motions. I love the knew ways of teaching because it gets all type of students with different learning style involve.
